Brief Corporate Overview:

DDC (UK) Ltd. was founded back in 1993 by Steve Richardson and his father Richard.

Having established and run a highly successful Stationery and Office Furniture business for a number of years, the pair found themselves specialising in more and more furniture installations creating a natural division between furniture and stationery sales. The logical progression was the introduction of DDC as a stand alone business.

Within 3 years The Company had outgrown its small showroom and moved into far more accommodating premises in a prime location in Newcastle upon Tyne, where they remain today. Having traded now for almost 15 years, DDC are now recognised as one of the leading suppliers of Office Furniture across the whole of the United Kingdom.

DDC (UK) Ltd currently:

• Utilise over 25,000 square feet of warehouse and around 20,000sq ft showroom space.

• Produce their own full set of literature.

• Have 24 full time employees.

• Operate a fleet of MAN 7.5 tonne and Mercedes Sprinter Luton vehicles nationally covering the whole of the UK including Northern Ireland.

• Offer Free Delivery and Installation which is provided by their own experienced teams of furniture installers.

• Turnaround most Office Furniture generally between 7 and 10 working days.

• Incorporate in-house CAD Facilities providing DDC’s space planning and are able to produce 2d, 3d and fully rendered drawings. This facility can even be utilised on site.

• A limited website. Their e-commerce website can be found at http://office-furniture.uk.net, though is presently under construction. Online ordering along with an account facility will be available. Due mid 2006.

• Have various payment options available including Credit and Debit card facilities, various finance options, Paypal for online purchases and 30 day credit accounts

• Also operate a Freephone number.
